Stainless Steel Spitfire Memorial fabricated by WEC Group apprentices

Our apprentices recently fabricated a spitfire plane entirely out of stainless steel as a project for the first year of their apprenticeship. The Spitfire Memorial will soon be donated by WEC to the Town of Darwen as a tribute to the people of Darwen who bought a Spitfire to support the war effort during WW2
